'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' becomes the highest-grossing movie of 2013

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has surpassed Iron Man 3 to become the highest grossing movie in 2013, seven weeks after its release on November 21. With an estimated collection of $409, 389, 000 the movie is now ranked #1 on the domestic charts.

The international collection adds another estimated $423,400,000 for the movie’s total gross to stand at $832, 789, 000 as of January 9. Catching Fire is also the biggest November opening of all times.
