We’ve heard rumors about spinoffs and new installments for both The Hunger Games and Twilight franchises since the credits rolled on Mockingjay: Part 2 in 2015.
Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer has addressed these possibilities to Wall Street yet again, signaling that we may not have seen the last of these revolutionaries and vampires on screen.
“There are a lot more stories to be told, and we’re ready to tell them when our creators are ready to tell those stories,” Feltheimer said during a quarterly earnings call with analysts on Tuesday.
But, Feltheimer added, these spinoffs would go forward only if the authors Suzanne Collins and Stephenie Meyer give the go-ahead.
