This was fast. You may (or may not) have heard about a Silicon Valley medical startup, Theranos, that claimed to revolutionize how blood tests were conducted. Now, the company is under investigation over inaccurate test results.
As is the way of Hollywood, the story of Theranos and its founder Elizabeth Holmes is now being dramatized for the big screen.
Jennifer Lawrence is set to play the role of 32-year-old Holmes in Adam McKay’s drama. Gary Sanchez Productions will be producing.
Apart from recently being seen in X-Men: Apocalypse, Jennifer has quite a bunch of projects lined up. These include Passengers where she co-stars with Chris Pratt, another biopic based on Fidel Castro’s lover Marita and more in pre-production.
