Today, 23 July, is the 54th birthday of Woody Harrelson who plays the role of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark’s mentor Haymitch Abernathy in The Hunger Games.
A veteran actor, Woody has been in scores of projects over the years including, more recently, Friends with Benefits, Now You See Me, True Detective (S1).
He will now be seen, apart from Mockingjay: Part 2, in By Way of Helena (alongside The Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth), Now You See Me: The Second Act, Triple 9 and more.

Today would have also been Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s 48th birthday. We miss him, and couldn’t have asked for a better actor to portray Plutarch Heavensbee in the movies.
