Following the announcement of the construction starting, the official website for The Hunger Games: The Exhibition is now online. Tickets for general public, starting at $22.50, are also now on sale. It will debut on July 1, 2015 at Discovery Times Square through January 3, 2016. After, it will embark on a global tour.
The Hunger Games: The Exhibition celebrates the blockbuster Hunger Games franchise and Katniss’s epic journey like never before. This dynamic exploration of the art, science, pageantry and history of the world of Panem features iconic costumes, props, and set recreations that highlight the technological wizardry and amazing artistry that brought this world to life. High-tech, hands-on interactives let you dive into exciting behind-the-scenes content, engage deeply with the world of the films, and discover a whole new side of the stories that took the world by storm.
The Exhibition areas will include District 12, The Tribute Train, The Capitol, a high-tech zone about Making the Games along with an interactive Gamemaking table, District 13, Katniss’s Tranformation involving all her costumes, and lastly, a Fan Gallery showcasing the phenomenon featuring real fan art.
