Us Magazine's 'Mockingjay' edition reveals what's next in 'Part 2' & more

The upcoming issue of Us Magazine is a collector’s edition for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, along with 3 posters, as is the norm with them.

JenLawrence on Instagram shared pictures from inside the magazine, which include brand new stills of President Snow, Katniss, Gale and more.

On the action involved in the first part:

Whether it’s Capitol troopers setting the District 8 ablaze (“We were 40 or 50 feet away from the actual flames,” says Hemsworth) or rebels rescuing Peeta from President Snow, “this movie gets your adrenaline pumping!” Sam Claflin (Finnick) tells Us. Fans of the book may especially recall one key heart-racing moment: when the Capitol tries to silence the rebels by bombing their subterranean community inside District 13.

However, the most interesting tidbit we get to learn is what to expect from the final movie of the franchise:

Prepare to grab tissues as Finnick finally reunites with his longtime love, Annie (who he thought was dead!), and marries her in a bittersweet ceremony. Then there’s Katniss, struggling to start from scratch with a severely brainwashed Peeta. “He has lost his mind and hates her now,” Hutcherson tells Us. Through it all, Katniss must keep an eye on the prize: the chance to, at long last, annihilate President Snow. “We get into the streets of the Capitol, which has become her arena,” says Francis. “She’s very, very fragile and very, very angry.”

The issue is out in stores in the US. We will have the full story as soon as the magazine shares it online.
