Stanley Tucci explains the 'Mockingjay' movie split

Actor Stanley Tucci, who plays the role of Hunger Games host Caesar Flickerman, talked to IGN during press for Transformers about why the final book in the trilogy, Mockingjay, was split in two.

“I think it does make sense to split it into two movies. You don’t want to cram a lot of information into one. You’d either have one sort of very long movie or…We know those characters so well that we want to take the time to see their progression.”

He also calls the “terrified” Caesar “the ultimate coward.”

What do you think of Tucci’s assertion?
