Rumors have been going on about some of the most popular young British stars, including Finnick Odair actor Sam Claflin, joining Lone Sherwig’s project Posh. The Hollywood Reporter is now confirming that it in indeed the case. Sam will be joined by The Host star Max Irons and Romeo and Juliet star Douglas Booth.
The movie is based on the hit West End play by Laura Wade.
The story is set amongst the privileged elite of Oxford University and follows two first year students determined to join the infamous Riot Club where reputations can be made or destroyed over the course of a single evening.
Universal Pictures International (UPI) has snapped up U.K. and Irish distribution rights to the hot market property in a deal negotiated by Thorsten Schumacher, managing director of HanWay Films and Graham Broadbent and Pete Czernin of Blueprint Pictures.
Robert Pattinson might also be joining the project, however no confirmation on that is available just yet.
Sam, back to Dublin from Cannes, is now resuming the filming for Love, Rosie with The Mortal Instruments star Lily Collins.
