Josh Hutcherson, who will be seen as Nod in the upcoming 3D animated movie Epic, introduces the movie and talks about the character calling him “genuine, free-spirited and fun kinda guy”. Watch it below:

Josh talked about Nod and his fellow Leafmen previously with USA Today:
He describes his fellow Leafmen, whose foliage armor could double as a tasty salad, as protectors of Mother Nature. “They keep her alive and strong.” But, much like Peeta, “Nod is a reluctant warrior. ” However, he is brave enough to strike up a relationship with headstrong Mary Katherine — MK for short.
Epic is described as a battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and evil. When a teenaged girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters to save that world, which in turn saves the real world.
The movie also stars Amanda Seyfried, Beyonce, Pitbull, Colin Farrell, Christoph Waltz and more. Epic will be released May 24, 2013.
